Content: Lucy wakes up to find that she's travelled from one alternate world to another.

Time: Week 24, late afternoon to early evening.

( When Lucy awoke to find herself in completely unfamiliar surroundings, she was not impressed. )

Loki? Now why did that name sound familiar...Oh yes! He was that human on the journals asking about all the lions. He'd gotten in a small argument with that Kovu, who seemed to have had some trouble getting along with Simba ( ... )

Lucy raised a hand to her mouth as a small 'eek!' escaped her. She stared at the lion for a moment before clearing her throat.

"Well, not a lion like you. Loki's one of the Ecliptic Zodiac Spirits. Each of them has a title, and Loki's is 'The Lion'."

She stared at him for a moment longer. The only animals she'd seen talk were cats (though not really normal cats). Still, coming from a world filled with magic, she'd seen stanger things.

"Uh, if you can talk, does that mean you use magic?" she asked, slightly hesitant. That was the case in Fiore, but she wasn't sure if it was the same in this strange place.

"Magic? I'm afraid not." That word had been tossed around some during Scar's stay in Paixao, and he'd come to understand that those silly humans used it to refer to just about anything they were unable to explain. Hardly an impressive habit of the hairless apes, but then, they really had very few good ones. However, Scar had seen some very powerful things accomplished with magic, so simply denying it was clearly foolish. The Heartless, of course, he was not going to mention. After all, why should he give away all his secrets ( ... )
