Larxene sauntered down a path stealthily, her heels clicking the concrete softly as she made her way towards the location her and Marluxia decided to meet in. A sly, almost expectant smirk was on her face, hidden by her hood. She hadn't forgotten what he had done, but karma would come in due time. And it would be too obvious if she did anything now, anyway. So far, her goal was to...bond their broken links again. That, and she decided she didn't want a Heart. The idea of believing she had the opportunity to get one sort of propelled her into wanting it. Yet, it was when she pondered about her precious toys that she came to a realization: it was better not having emotions. She could throw somebody into a running car, watch them die, and not feel a thing. Maybe laugh at the hilarious sight, but even then those were "memories" doing so. With a Heart, it will do nothing but weight heavily on the body. She remembered very well what it was like to have one. It was painful. It held her back. And she could do without the weakness. Watching ( ... )

Marluxia's head turned a fraction at the familiar clicks signifying Larxene's approach. The rhythm was different, in a way, than Paixao's natural citizens, and the blonde--that particular blonde--had an aura all her own that was unmistakable. For an instant, Marluxia tensed, memories of their last encounter being drawn to the surface all over again, but soon the tension faded, and by the time he turned to face Larxene, he had managed to school his expression into one of amiability.

"Far too long," he agreed. "You know, you never did tell me exactly what you were up to while you were away. It's not like you to be up to absolutely nothing."

"Don't you think that's my line?~ After all, you were kicked out of the Organization for a reason," Larxene tittered, her smile charming as she rested her arm on his shoulder. She wondered if Marluxia honestly expected her to answer that sort of question so quickly after the lack of trust issue between them. He had shown very clearly that he was in it for himself. Of course, not that she wasn't either, but she hadn't revealed the truth behind her facade as of yet. Sort of. The duties she was asked to complete were hardly of interest in this situation when she was dealing with a possible advantage in Marluxia's little plans. Whatever they were. She would be surprised if he didn't have one cooked up: not that she could be surprised.

Staring up at him innocently, she waved the inquiry away with a flippant jerk of her hand. "I was just hunting little toys, is all."

The corners of Marluxia's mouth twitched downward at Larxene's observation. It seemed she remembered more than she let on... unfortunately. He would have to be careful in how he dealt with her, or at least make sure he was careful to skirt around anything that would lead to discussion on what had happened in the past.

"Found them again, did you? I'm sure you must have missed them so. Have you found your favorites or were you looking for new ones to play with?"

"I've found plenty. You have to wonder if they really believe they can actually hide, though, it's amusing to watch them fail. Buuuut...that's not what interests me right now~," Larxene clued in rather cutely, with an added dramatized shake of her head, not exactly falling for the change in subject. A devious smile was on her face as she eyed her former pink haired companion with an elusive glint of her eye. She wasn't exactly fond of staying in this path to discuss certain matters, considering that while it was the right time to meet up in secret, it was an open space that could be intruded upon. First thing was first, however. "Again, what have you been up to? After all, it wasn't me who messed up our confidence in each other, right? I have something for us both in mind, unlike you...after we go to a more private place, I mean."

Immediately, Marluxia became more cautious, tensing for a fraction of an instant and his expression immediately shifting into a frown. His suspicions, now, were completely confirmed. She did remember. Everything. And every moment he spent here was a moment spent in danger. He could leave now. A quick retreat was better than death, and there was no way to tell that just because Larxene hadn't attacked him now that she wouldn't later. And yet somehow Marluxia could tell that before him was an opportunity. One that he hadn't come across in a long, long time. And with the loss of so many promising pawns, the Graceful Assassin couldn't say he had much choice.

Even so, he was no fool. "Blame can be shifted around all you please. I've kept the real threat in mind and have been pulling strings to extinguish it. You wouldn't mind dropping a hint before we leave? I hope you can understand why I might be a little... hesitant."

"Oh, I'm not trying to shift blame, Marloo~. Just showing you who should actually be the more suspicious of the two of us," Larxene countered perkily, a nicely placed smile on her lips as she examined his reactions with a satisfied expression. To think, she was just there to perhaps use him in one of her little plans as a team after all he had done, and he's all cautious to see if she will do something bad. It was sort of laughable, considering the tension here originated from what he did. If she would've lured him into a trap, then her hands were clean. She wasn't going to be his second-fiddle again; she'll make sure of that. In fact, Marluxia did her a favor in the end. Made her realize that she had been too careless. She might not want a Heart anymore, yet the actions committed were over with, and it opened her eyes.

Which just made her work all the more effective ♥.

"As for the place, even you can choose. I say we go more deeper into the...empty side of Paixao. Less people to be around. We could find any spot then."

Marluxia was still hesitant, that much he couldn't deny. But he had made his decision, and he wouldn't reverse it now. "The empty side it is," he replied with a short nod, deciding not to reply to her first statement. Her thoughts on the subject had, ironically, been at least part of his motivation. In a way. She was so much more useful to him as she was now than as she had been with her heart.

As she had been the one to so kindly offer, Marluxia decided that he'd be the one to figure out exactly where they would talk. As long as they remained out of sight of any prying eyes... He opened a portal to an area outside the city. "After you."

"Always a gentleman~," she returned sweetly, giving him a rather coy stare of her eye as she stepped forward. While it appeared trivial, she had to ponder for a few seconds about getting into a portal he conjured up. At the same time, she didn't want to present any "weaknesses" that might get taken as such. With Marluxia, any partnership from now on was merely a tool to the next plan. She doubted that today was a set-up for backhanded ploys, yet one can never be too careful. Regardless, she still went through the Dark Corridor, having her body immersed itself in black for a moment before appearing on the other side without much trouble.

She had to think on how to go about this now. Nothing could get through without him revealing what he was planning. Perhaps she could pretend...

A smirk marked her face once more, eyes half-lidded as she placed a finger on her bottom lip lecherously, looking over her shoulder. "You have to be willing, though."
