Naminé had just gotten it into her head to try to walk outside a little bit when she spotted the portal. She'd wanted to get a little fresh air, but that sickening sound and the sight of something all-too familiar made the fear, or whatever this was, well up inside her. Panicking a little, she turned towards the door to go back inside the apartment, only to find it blocked by a dusk ( ... )

The portal opened into a white room, not a door in sight. He stepped across the floor away from her, and the portal closed. "It has been some time," he commented idly. "It seems as though you have forgotten things, Naminé." He glanced over his shoulder to the witch. His smirk had fallen. He was now getting down to business.

"You apologized, before we came here," he continued. "Not to me, of course." Though she should if she knew what was good for her. "Who, I wonder? Who else would possibly accept a Nobody?"

Following behind Xemnas, Naminé stepped out of the portal, feeling her life back at Castle Oblivion coming to haunt her as the dark corridor closed behind them. The white was very familiar and she didn't like that at all, either. His words, however, cut her deeply, and she shivered a little, letting her head bow towards the floor as she came to a stop.

"F-forgotten?" What could she have forgotten? She searched her memory desperately, but came up empty. What was he talking about?

The rest made her flinch and she shook her head. "No one. It was just an illusion." The sad thing was, Naminé had no idea anymore if that was true or not. On the one hand, she thought Timon was just using her, but sometimes it seemed as though he might actually-

No, it wasn't right of her to think that. She was a Nobody. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just... nothing.

"Forgotten," he repeated with a shake of his head and then gestured up the the white ceiling. He turned a sharp eye towards her. "You belong to Organization XIII. Never forget that your will is only an illusion." He took the word that she used and threw it right back at her, then wheeled around and stepped closer.

"Yes, illusions. You seem to have many of those, do you not?" He chuckled slowly. "Any 'friend' of yours merely wants one thing - and one thing alone - to use you. You are a tool, Naminé. To everyone."

Naminé didn't want to believe what Xemnas was saying, but she couldn't help listening. She'd spent her whole life being told that she was nothing. As a Nobody, she was nothing, but even among Nobodies, she was nothing but a tool. Not even DiZ had offered her the courtesy of calling her worthwhile. She wasn't worth anything to anyone ( ... )
