Content: Donna's back in town, and wandering around the city trying to find a familiar face.
Setting: Around the Central Station
Time: Week 22
Warnings: None, right now.

( Donna stepped off the train, hands in pockets, looking around the area as she did so. )

"Nice to meet you too." Donna said, smiling a bit now. She liked this creature, even if she didn't know exactly what he was, or where he was from. She watched him float around in the air for a moment, thinking.

"I don't know how long I've been gone, really... Anything peculiar going on lately?"

NiGHTS couldn't really help Donna there. If he'd known her before, he could have taken a guess, but as the situation was, he had no idea whatsoever. "Maybe if you find someone here who knows you, you'll be able to find out how long you were gone," he mused. "As for what's going on, there was an election around here for Mayor. I'm not sure who won, but..." NiGHTS trailed off with a shrug. "Apparently, it was a pretty big deal." NiGHTS didn't particularly care about authority; mayor or no mayor, NiGHTS wasn't about to listen to any authority unless he was in the mood to do so.

"I'm trying to find him. The Doctor. He'll know exactly how long I was gone. He's a mate from home." She thought for a moment, trying to decide just how much to tell this new creature, she didn't want to give too much away. But, from how he was talking, he seemed to know what was going on...much more than some of the citizen she had been talking to.

"Ah, well, we'll see what happens with that, I bet it was one of the blondies who won." She mused out loud, looking at the crowd of people again.

"I know of the Doctor," NiGHTS responded. "He's the guy who travels around in a blue box, right?" He'd seen it around the island before - that, and he paid attention to the message board (at least occasionally). "He's definitely still around here." NiGHTS smiled. "If you like, I can help you look for him." Surely, the Doctor was somewhere around the city; very few people bothered to leave, unless they were exploring.

"Probably," NiGHTS replied, not sounding too concerned with that turn of events. The citizens didn't seem the to be the type to take chances on outsiders; even if they acted friendly, for some reason, there was always something... off about them.

"Yes! That's him!" Donna said, excited to find someone who knew who she was looking for. NiGHTS even knew of the TARDIS, which would hopefully make finding the Doctor easier. The Spaceman never went too far from his ship, considering.

"If you would help me find him, it would mean a lot." Which was pure honesty. She didn't want to be stuck here for long, and if someone could figure a way to get out of the city, it was the Doctor.
