( It wasn’t so much the fact that Hercules found himself in an unfamiliar place all of a sudden, it was how unfamiliar it was. )

"Give me a break, how do you think?" Crowds line up to see this guy fight, is he trying to be a wise-guy? The mild irritation subsided and Riku grew much more somber. Or else the irritation was redirected. "Hades wouldn't shut up about you.

"I don't know how!" If only Riku would notice that Hercules was being sincere, he honestly had no idea how the older boy had heard of him already.

"Wait, Hades? As in the god of the dead? What does he have to do with me?"

Riku sighed, annoyed. "Yeah, the 'God of the Dead,'" he said, mockingly using his fingers as quotation marks. "You know, the god who hates your guts?" Neither his fame nor Hades? What kind of game is he-- ...Both?

"Hey, you know a guy named... Who was it..." The teen narrowed his eyes as he thought about things Hades talked about. "Philitidus? Phili-- Ugh. Just Phil."

"Why would he hate my guts? I don't even know him!" Hercules replied, getting just as annoyed at Riku as Riku seemed to be at him. Hercules was starting to get fed up with the other boy when the conversation turned to Phil.

"Yeah, I know Phil." He answered tentatively, "I... just met him a couple weeks ago."

He raised his brows.

Simply ignoring the first question, Riku bluntly pieced together his realization. "You don't know that Hades hates you. Or that you're famous. You only recently met Phil and you and Sora look like an even match if you arm-wrestled Sora on top of all that." That being said, he knew better to judge a demigod based on looks.

Riku leaned against a nearby ornate trash can. "You're from a different time than me. Probably by years."
