Character(s): Urd, Belldandy, Yorda, possibly Genie later Content: Urd brings Yorda to her home away from home. Setting: New house in zone M6 Time: Week 18, midday Warnings: None
Yorda had been reaching curiously for an apple made out of crystal when she saw Urd's familiar white hair in the crowd. With a soft, happy gasp, the girl ran over to the goddess, carefully making her way through the crowd nonetheless so as not to cause anyone any harm. She reached for Urd's hand, unsure if the other had seen her. "Hello," she greeted, a bright smile on her face. "I have missed you, Urd."
Urd stopped in her tracks at the feel of a hand on her own and glanced down in surprise. "Ah! Yorda!" She smiled gently, squeezing the girl's hand. That surge of protectiveness went through her again, coupled with relief that the girl was safe. "I missed you too," she said with a quiet chuckle. "Let's get you home, okay?"
With that, she picked her up and lifted off the ground. "Belldandy's waiting, so let's take a shortcut. Hold on." She flew above the buildings of the city, not too quickly. It wasn't very long until they were at the new house.
It was two stories, with a wide porch and large door. It gave an overall feeling of safety and welcome. As Urd landed, carefully depositing Yorda on her feet once more, she looked up at it with a smile. "Here we are."
Yorda looked at the place where she would be staying from now on. It seemed warm and inviting, causing another bright smile to break out over the girl's face. As she was let down, she turned to Urd, about to ask her how she flew without wings (as even the shadows belonging to her mother had needed wings to fly) when she heard a new voice greeting her with an odd attachment to her name. The princess turned, curiously regarding this new woman. Her markings reminded Yorda somewhat of Urd's own, but they looked nothing alike aside from that. "Hello," Yorda replied, walking up to the newcomer trustingly. "Who are you? Why are you calling me 'Yorda-san'?"
Even in what would become her new home, Yorda still had many questions to ask, and it wasn't likely to change anytime soon.
It was the familiar questioning that made Urd chuckle. Odd, that she had missed it. She knew it was only a matter of time until the old impatience set in again, but for now, she rested her hand on the young girl's head and grinned.
"This is Belldandy. She's my cute little sister." She glanced at the goddess in question, bemusement and quiet contentment softening her expression. "She adds a 'san' to people's name out of habit. It's a sign of respect."
Urd looked back down at Yorda, tousling her hair. "I know you two will get along."
