Content: After exploring Destiny Islands for a bit, the Doctor's Time Lord senses tingle.
Setting: St. Destino's / The TARDIS?

Honestly, Rosette didn't buy the "left something in the TARDIS" excuse. Sure, the thing was big enough, but it was the way the Doctor said it that left doubts. She only grinned like that when she was covering something, and she couldn't help but think that that might have been exactly what the Doctor was doing.

Announcing they had to turn back and letting Jenny go explore on her own had only clinched the doubts. Something was off. She looked up at the Doctor, nearly jogging to keep up with his long stride as they crossed the fields. "Is there a reason we're going back, or did you just forget to turn the stove off?"

Rose frowns, sharing an uncertain glance with Rosette, before taking up residence on the Doctor's free side. They both caught it; something was wrong. "Doctor?" she asks carefully, "what is it?"

What would cause him to simple up and drop all kinds of adventure? And he seen something that they didn't?

He knew there was going to be questions, he just still hadn't decided how much or even how little to explain. The Doctor just wasn't sure what to think, beyond how it shouldn't be possible. However, knowing these two, he wasn't about to get out of explaining.

"Timelords are able to... sense one another," the Doctor began, digging in his pocket for the TARDIS key as he led them around the church to where the TARDIS had been parked in some of the overgrowth. "And I sensed one, but that isn't possible. There's only me."

Rosette stopped short outside the opened TARDIS. The explanation made sense, sure, but from the Doctor's tone it sounded like it shouldn't have. "If it's not possible, then what's causing it?"

Rose stumbled to a stop, staring wide-eyed at the Doctor. She's heard how he's spoken of other Time Lords before, seen what it does to him. How could... how could there be more? They died.

She follows after him again. "But that's... that's a good thing, isn't it? I mean, what if in Paixao it's possible? It wouldn't be only you."
