“Whoa, what happened to you?” A rather unusual voice rose from beside Riku. “The Organization already find you?” If the boy turned to look for the source of such sound he would find the small, redheaded meerkat that stood by his side. A rather amused look could be found across its features while it continued to mock him. “Geez, not even here three days and you already gave yourself away. Need I define ‘laying low’ for you? Obviously you missed the point of it.”

Timon was sure he had kept Riku waiting though it had never been his intention. Unfortunately he had not carried himself quite as quickly as he thought he would. He blamed his empty stomach as well as the demon who had tried poisoning him with their black toast, dried out eggs and warm orange juice that morning. The very thought of the grotesque breakfast made the meerkat feel ill. There was also his faulty sense of direction to blame but Timon paid no mind to that. It was not his fault he was unfamiliar with the Palazzo Townhomes. It wasn’t often he found himself in the area.

At first Riku looked irritated. After all, he had just gotten up, even if it was technically afternoon. Though talking or not, he often did prove his mastery at being a night-owl and the sleeping habits that accompanied it. But as Timon mocked him, a sly smirk crossed Riku's face. He leaned down close. "Because no one can 'lay low' like a little guy. Guess I'll never be as good as you."

The teen got to his feet and looked down, finding himself six times taller than his companion. Man. No wonder he doesn't want to walk far. "Where to? You know this place a lot better than I do."

Riku couldn’t be more off. Sure, Timon was, perhaps, the smallest resident in Paixao but he also managed to get into some of the most trouble. Not that he ever intentionally went looking for trouble, of course. It just always managed to find him. True, he had been forced to ‘lay low’ a few times now and always succeeded to stray from the Organization’s eye but it was never very long before they found him. They always found him. However, this time around he had something else in mind for the impassive organization…

Timon shared a false laugh with the boy. “Ha, ha. Hilarious. A word of advice though, you might want to consider keeping your day job.” With that, he planted both paws firmly on his hips and looked up, way up, at Riku. “I take it you haven’t eaten yet, hu? I figured we’d head over to Cafe Ersesat and grab a bite to eat. The walk there should give us plenty of time to catch up.” He paused briefly before speaking again ( ... )

The teen chuckled to himself. "Funny since I don't plan on going back on my promise to help his one lady."

"Cafe Ersesat? I think that was the name of the place I grabbed a soda from yesterday." He hummed an amused note that might pass for a laugh. "They gave me odd looks until I waved money in their faces. Never would have believed you could pay with leaves here."

Riku wasn't unaccustomed to shaking the hand of someone much shorter than he was. However, King Mickey was still a good deal taller than Timon, so even in his customary kneel Riku found himself hunching over a decent amount. He smirked at Timon's words. "And as you know, I'm Riku. Not to be confused with what I think is a sprite with the same name." He left off with an odd expression as if he didn't quite get that himself. It'd been something he'd learned while checking up on Sora in the shadows.

With introductions out of the way, the meerkat began to walk toward the fore mention café. He did not wait for Riku to follow but rather gestured over his shoulder for the hero to join him instead while he walked. Normally there would be no need for such hurry but if Timon continued to ignore his angry stomach for much longer… Well, Riku would have one cranky meerkat on his hands. Besides, it wasn’t as though the boy would have any trouble catching up with him anyway.

“Yeah, you can pay with just about anything.” Timon explained with a shrug. “As long you can convince them it’s actually worth something, they’ll take it. I once used Vyers’ belt to buy a meal fit for a king and that thing was worth nothing, no matter how hard he tried to convince you. And this meal, I’m tellin’ you, it was something else. I’m talkin’ a full out, all you can eat smorgasbord. They had everything.” A small little satisfied sigh escaped him before the angry growl of the meerkats stomach interrupted his train of thought. He flashed Riku a nervous smile and ( ... )
