It had been a strange and disappointed week for Megara. Having been transported this place had actually been the least of her issues. In fact, she'd almost embraced this new circumstance when she found out Hades was here as well. That just sucked the optimism right out of her. It was hard to look for the silver lining when you were an eternal servant to the biggest egomaniac to be a god of death ( ... )

Shoaneb turned, having just finished making an entry onto the network that she had discovered through the device. The young woman she "saw" through her Force Sight showed no hostile intentions, so she did not reach for her lightsaber. She seemed to be Human as well, that or a near-Human species that Shoaneb couldn't distinguish.

"It looks like I am," she answered. Well against her expectations, but Shoaneb decided not to elaborate on that point. She had a clearer view of the city now, but she could sense no Jedi nearby. In that case, it would do well to be cautious, though the woman seemed to have no hostile intentions at present, nor was she armed.

"I've just arrived on this planet. Do you think you could tell me a little about it?"

"Sure," Meg replied dryly, crossing her arms. "This is Paixao and it's a big empty city of nothing." She glanced at a native that walked by, sighing. "The people are nothing, the plants are nothing and the ocean surrounding us is nothing. I'm not even sure you could call this a planet." Raising a delicately shaped eyebrow, she looked back at the woman. "What's your name? I'm Megara."

Well. That shed light on some things, but it wasn't the sort of explanation that Shoaneb had been hoping for. "An illuminating description," she said, raising her eyebrows beneath her wrappings. Still, the description of people as nothing did seem a bit fitting, considering the oddly undimensional nature of the ones that Shoaneb had encountered so far. For that matter, she could sense no life from the grass and trees. Was it all artificial?

"My name is Shoaneb Culu," she said. "I'm a Jedi Knight. You aren't a native of this place, are you?" She wasn't sure how much weight being a Jedi Knight would carry, but she hoped it could get her in contact with whatever local authorities there were here.

Meg laughed without humor, lifting one shoulder in a shrug. "I'm no native...I actually have a will. So, Shoaneb Culu...what's a Jedi Knight? Can't say I've ever heard of one." As she spoke, she watched the woman carefully. Despite being blindfolded, she seemed fully aware of the details around her, as if she could see. An oracle of some kind, maybe? No, this woman was clearly some kind of warrior. After spending enough time with the type, Meg could pick up on the strong sense of self, the confidence in one's own skill, the complete faith that nothing could stop them or kill them.

They were always so shocked by their inevitable defeats. She wondered if this "Jedi Knight" was any wiser.
