Urd snapped out of it as Genie's voice broke through the haze in her mind. She snapped her head up to stare at him, then looked down at their hands. "Oh! Sorry, handsome," she chuckled sheepishly, loosening her grip. She lifted his hands to her lips, lightly kissing each one before relinquishing them entirely with a wink and a pat on his shoulder. "Sometimes I don't know my own strength!"

She turned away from him, walking towards the center of the damaged roof with her hands on her hips. "Anyway, I'm thinking it's time for Belldandy and I to find a new place." She turned abruptly, pointing at Genie. "I am not running away, though, let's just be clear about that! No hiding!" Frowning, she glanced at the gaping hole in the roof to her right. "...not that I could, probably. This is a pretty small word." She glanced back at him, smirking. "I just want something bigger for my sister and I. And Yorda, when I can find her. And anyone else who might need a little shelter ( ... )

“Tell me about it.” The genie replied, though mostly to himself. He raised one of his accordion like hands to examine it but quickly found himself forced to look away. He just could not bare to look. As gruesome and somehow comedic as such damage was, however, it was by no means permanent. His hands resumed their previous shape after a simple flick of the wrist, allowing him to clasp them together. At least, before he raised them again, this time in defence at Urd’s accusations.

“Oh! No, the thought never crossed my mind.” He assured her. It was true; as far as he was concerned, the last thing Urd passed as was a coward. If anything, he was more worried about her taking risks than actually avoiding them. “Hiding’s not your style, anyway. I do second the notion of moving though. I can see the neighbours having maybe a few complaints after the extent of property damage here.” Genie paused for a moment and looked down at the split roof before he added, “Although, it does make a lovely skylight, doesn’t it? Either way, as long as you and ( ... )

Urd chuckled dryly at the mention of neighborhood complaints. If she didn't fix the damage, the gypsies would never let her hear the end of it, even though she was tempted to just leave it. The building was obviously on its last legs as it was. Genie would probably scold her if she didn't clean up after herself, though.

She smiled gently at him at he expressed his concern for her and Belldandy's safety. True, he was the kind of guy who'd be concerned for everyone, but it still made her feel the same warm, full feeling of happiness he was starting to make her feel every time he was around. Sighing a quiet sigh, Urd began to clean up the damage around them as she spoke ( ... )

He certainly would! She had to fix the damage. It was only the right thing to do after she had been the one responsible for it. Well, sort of responsible. But the Organization would never fix it themselves. Knowing them, they would just demolish the rest of the building. She on the other hand had the ability to repair it. And if she wouldn’t, he would. It wasn’t as though the gypsies had the money to fix it themselves. Worst case scenario, the put some sort of hex or curse on Urd if she didn’t and that was something she could easily go without.

Genie watched the goddess with a satisfied smile as she began to repair the roof. The girl she had mentioned, the one that kind of glowed. She sounded familiar, though he was not sure if she had asked a lot of questions. Maybe he had just never noticed. After all, he was asked quite a few questions himself on a regular basis. “I think I may have met her. She was looking for her Matir... And the boy with the horns, if I remember correctly. Do you think she's a Virgo or Gemini to be so ( ... )

Urd laughed quietly at that last comment. "She's too curious about things for her own good. She probably saw something shiny and got lost." Floating over to the split trunk of a tree, she sighed and shook her head, lifting her face to the sky. "It's really such a shame...when two people love each other that much but this world can still separate them. I was having so much fun teaching them about romance." Shrugging at the sadness of it all, she focused entirely on the task at hand for a moment, hands clasped in a praying gesture. It didn't make sense to repair the damaged plant life now that she'd decided to move, so now it was a matter of getting rid of it all entirely ( ... )
