"Stop lookin' so dumbstrruck," comes an irritated purr from nearby. This mithra continues, hand on chin, looking bored and slightly annoyed, "all you newbies are always the same. Confused, pathetic, and likely a waste of my time."

That didn't exactly explain why she was hanging out by the gate though, perched up on a piece of architecture, her tail lazily curled over the side. "Well, I suppose it isn't like you're givin' a panic attack. Jeez."

((Mind if I barge in? Let's see if we can make McGee's head explode... catgirl and an elf. <3))

Lei'ella had been wandering near the gate, pondering her latest dilemma: organizing an expedition to attempt to get out of this place. She hadn't been looking to be helpful at all, really, but she couldn't help but over-hear Naja's "greeting" of who was no doubt a new arrival. She couldn't help but feel a little defensive on his behalf. She couldn't imagine anyone handling it well. At least it wasn't magically pitch black anymore.

"As if such an abrupt, and magical displacement is easy for everyone to accept?" she called to Naja, stepping into view with a veiled smirk, but sparing an apologetic smile for McGee.

((And one more for the head-explode factor!))

So the city was inside a castle, now? It would have to be a fairly large castle to fit, although all thing considered, Susan had seen any number of things that were just as odd if not more. Most of them she hadn't even wanted to be a part of.

She didn't seem to have a choice though. She never had before, so why start now. In this case, by seeing what could be seen outside the walls of the city. There weren't any answers there, so logic dictated they'd be outside.

"That would depend on them," she answered as she got into range of the conversation.

OOC: Yaaaay! The company is more than welcome! ^^

The purr startled him. McGee swung his eyes up from the device to stare at the speaker. Before he had time to say something--although he had no idea, really, what he'd say--another voice broke in and McGee turned his head to notice a figure that was much more familiar, if no less alarming. If she, unlike the first figure, wore a sympathetic smile, McGee did not notice: he was far too busy staring at the long, pointed ears, emerging from underneath her silver hair.

The third person confirmed his mounting suspicion. If less bizarre-looking than the others, her clothing was still unnervingly old-fashioned, and the shock of white hair...well, it was nothing to the first girl, in any case, who had managed to give herself a cat face. The makeup was astounding, and once he'd managed to shut his mouth, McGee found himself grinning and looking around with new eyes. Everything suddenly made sense. He was so relieved and mildly giddy that he realized they'd been speaking only in the silence ( ... )

"It would depend," she agrees idly to the collective. She was never really bothered by the displacement herself. Got over it rather quick, although there was the continued spikes of annoyance.

"Convention?" Naja then echoes, raising a brow and looking over at the others. "This is Paixao. A crruddy city that we're all trapped in. I don't know what you're talkin' about otherwise."
