Character(s): Kefka, Rozalin Content: Rozalin, you have made a poor decision. Setting: Paixao Central Station Time: Early Evening Warnings: Kefka, as always, is a creepy bastard
Rozalin was quite ignorant of what she was walking into. True, the one she had spoken to did seem slightly odd, but nothing terribly out of the ordinary. She was a demon, after all, used to being surrounded by demon kind. A man with a strange face was not really all that odd.
All she wanted was somewhere nice to live. She was growing tired of the hotel and wanted something better, until Adell and the others found her and could bring her home.
She didn't keep Kefka long. She soon approached the strange man, only hesitating slightly.
Kefka's head shot up as he heard Rozalin speak, any previous frustration completely wiped from his expression. "Oh, goodie, there you are! And right on time, too! Punctual, aren't you? Now let's see... What was this meeting for..." The court mage put a hand to his chin, his head cocked to the side as he pretended to mull things over.
"Oh, that's right! You were looking for somewhere to live, weren't you? Now if you'll just follow me, we'll get you settled." With an exaggerated sweep of his arm, Kefka gestured to the path before them before walking down it, practically dancing with each step.
He supposed he could allow the god a glimpse of his pretty little prize. Whether he'd hand the girl over, however, he'd decide later. And who was to say he couldn't have his cake and eat it too?
The... man? Well, he was male, although she was not certain if he was at all human, was certainly not quite what she'd expected. And the fact he couldn't even remember what she'd been meeting him about at first, awarded him an exasperated expression.
"Yes, that's correct," she replied, before hesitantly following. "I'd like to see it first before I make any decisions about settling there."
Rozalin had high expectations, after all. Not to mention, she wasn't sure she exactly could trust Kefka. Or, more to the point, she was beginning to question his sanity.
To be fair, his "forgetting" had been more of a stalling tactic than anything else. But she could think what she wanted. Her opinion of him really didn't matter all that much in the end... just as long as she knew her place (which, like everyone else, was beneath him).
"No, no, no. You're getting far too ahead of yourself. First we need to make a visit. Didn't I tell you I knew someone who knew just the place for you?" he asked her, "First we meet up with him, then we go to see your lovely home! There's a process to these kinds of things, you know."
"Is that so? I-I was not aware! I haven't had to find a home before," she replied, a bit bewildered. Rozalin had always lived in the palace and then at Adell's. She knew nothing about this sort of thing, and had never read about it, as it wasn't something she could ever see herself having to do.
"Very well, then," she said, continuing to follow.
