Urd smiled gently, coming to Belldandy's aid and taking a tray from her load. "Wow...I knew you'd been busy in the kitchen but I didn't think you'd make this much. It's perfect!" She lead the way to the nearest table, placing the food down. She took a chip and popped it in her mouth, eyebrow raised as she looked appraisingly at her sister. "Where's your swimsuit? I don't want to be the only one to knock 'em dead with my incredible beauty."

Belldandy had nothing to worry about; she had not been nearly as late as the genie. Having lost track of time unpacking his belongings in his new apartment, as well as practicing a few new recipes, it all came down to a mad dash from one end of the city to another. He could only hope he wasn’t too late, it was awfully rude to keep everyone waiting.

“Sorry I’m late, ladies!” Genie called out once the two came into view. “I lost track of time. I hope I didn’t miss anything.” The djinn ran toward them, a cooler and umbrella tucked under one arm and large duffle bag under the other. He had decided to go with a pair of bright yellow swim trunks to match his sandals and white lifeguard singlet. Had his hands not been full he would have removed his sunglasses when he reached the two.

“Wow, looks like you’re all set up already.” He said after taking a glance around the pool. “Might I add that you two also look simply gorgeous in your swimsuits?”

"Anything you wear will fit the occasion, Bell," Urd chuckled. Her expression became somber, then, as she opened her mouth to reply that there was, in fact, something else to take care of, but Genie appeared and her face immediately lit up.

She smirked, draping an arm over her sister's shoulders and winked. "Of course we do. Thanks for noticing, though." Her smirk turned into a grin as she gazed pointedly at his trunks. "That's a good color on you, blue boy. Complements your skin." She stepped forward, tapping the cooler under his arm.

"Tell me you brought drinks."

Genie smiled at the two in return for their kind words. “Thank you, thank you. I wanted to go bold. After all, it helps to be able to see the lifeguard from a fair distance. Assuming, of course, you need a lifeguard. Having the experience and all I thought it would be helpful to have someone else watching over all the kids that stop by this afternoon. You know how it is with big crowds.” He shrugged. “Oh well, I guess it can’t be helped.”

With that he dropped his bag and cooler onto the ground. “And yes, I did bring drinks. Fresh fruit, sandwiches and an all time beach favourite: sunflower seeds. Don’t worry though! I brought a bucket to put the shells in to avoid a mess.” Carefully placing his umbrella with the rest of his stuff, he glanced between the two goddesses questioningly. “What’s up, girlfriend?

Urd smiled in bemusement at Belldandy and shook her head. "No, that's not it." She gazed out towards the park, arms folded. Her expression grave, she said, "Hades is coming to the party, as you both no doubt saw." She sighed, bowing her head. "I was careless...I didn't lock the entry talking about the party and now everyone knows." She turned to face the other two, frowning.

"I can't stop him or any other creeps from coming, but we can prepare for them. I think we need to set up some kind of barrier for Heartless, first of all. Maybe even a power dampener...though that might be a little extreme."
