( Though the darkness outside had lightened up slightly, the inside of Belle and Yuna's apartment still needed quite a few candles. )

"Singing...?" Before Belle could respond further, bright light filled the room. She gasped, holding up her hands to shield her eyes...and as the light faded, she blinked rapidly to bring Yuna's new appearance into view. "Oh!" she murmured softly, eyes wide now. "What a beautiful dress!" And it was blue, which Belle considered the most beautiful color ever.

When Yuna mentioned a duet, Belle grinned. "I'm not sure you and I would know the same songs. After all, we're from different worlds!"

Yuna bounced a little bit more before her feet automatically took her into a small dance. "Well, I didn't know any of the songs, either, until the dressphere taught them to me!" she answered with a laugh as she twirled around. "The person whose outfit this was died a thousand years ago on Spira."

With a huge effort, she stopped dancing, but she couldn't force her feet to stop bouncing. "The dressphere just knows the dance and the song."

"That's amazing!" Belle said, standing from the sofa to get a closer look at Yuna's outfit. The flowing blue fabric was both revealing and concealing. It was like water. She walked around Yuna, eyebrow raised in thought. "I thought perhaps this was technology far beyond my own world, like the journals, but this must be some kind of magic. To be able to have the talents of someone thousands of years in the past...how extraordinary!" At this last exclamation, Belle took Yuna's hands and giggled.

"You must sing. I'd love to hear an ancient song from your world!"

"I don't know how Shinra does it," Yuna admitted, twirling just a little. "I think it is magical, though, as well as technological, since the spheres always carry hints to Spira's past, even if it's recent history." She laughed a little at Belle's last words, though. "I don't think I'd call them ancient. If you want one of those, I'll just sing the Hymn of the Fayth." Which would bring back a lot of not-so-fond memories for the former summoner. Best not to dwell on those for now.

The microphone was being tapped against her other palm then, subconsciously as she'd never really been able to control this one as well as the others. "There's not much room in here right now, but I'll try to show you Real Emotion. It's one of my favorites, though I can't really control the dancing."

Hopefully Belle wouldn't mind that part.

"Oh, yes! Please, do!" Belle replied excitedly, rushing back to the couch to sit like a good audience member. She always loved the arts, loved watching exotic, beautiful performers from other parts of the world act out incredible feats of skill. However, such a treat was a rare thing for the peasant girl. She only once saw a traveling troupe, but was instantly charmed.

Now she sat on the edge of her seat, watching Yuna with anticipation.
