Character(s): Larxene and Yuuko Content: Larxene goes to Yuuko's shop with a suggestion for a trade... Setting: Yuuko's shop Time: evening Warnings: none I can see, surprisingly
Yuuko was in and had sensed that she was going to get a visitor today. Of course, she hadn't exactly known whom it would be, but that was half the fun. Yuuko rose from the chair she'd been lounging in and approached the entranceway where her visitor stood. Yuuko leaned against the doorway with a cat-like grin, "Hello, welcome to my shop, what can I do for you?" If Yuuko realized who this was she gave no indication. In fact, she seemed rather pleased.
Ah, there she was. Larxene smiled at the woman, deciding politeness was the best way to go about this. After all, what she wanted to request had been something she'd searched for for some time. The reason she joined the Organization in the first place. To think it would be easy to obtain, the simple granting of a wish, was-- Well, She would see.
"Straight to business, I see," Yuuko replied coolly. She studied the young woman for a moment, there was definitely something not right about her and Yuuko could also detect some magic ability in her...lightning? Interesting. "You've heard right, I can...for a price."
It was that statement that made Yuuko realize that this woman didn't realize exactly what she was asking. "Well, the price will depend greatly on what your wish is. To grant any wish, something must be given to the granter in return," Yuuko replied, "it's about balance." She let that sink in before continuing, "So, what is your wish?"
Balance. Well, this would be an interesting exchange. What was a heart worth? She'd just have to ask. "A heart."
She was more serious than usual, watching Yuuko closely. It was not without thought that she revealed the secret behind a Nobody's behavior, the lack of emotions and light that made them the same as the air around them for all that they could be like a person. It was just that some were good actors.
"You wouldn't happen to have a friend who wants a brain, would you," Yuuko asked, grinning slightly. She was teasing of course...she imagined that was Harry rubbing off on her. She really did like that movie though...she had to wonder whether or not the woman would get the joke
( ... )
The joke didn't go over Larxene's head, but she chose to ignore it in favor of following the woman into the shop. So, it seemed like it was possible? But what was the--
Ah, the catch. All her memories of being a Nobody, traded for her heart returned. She considered. Everything of Paixao, everything before then. It would be like she was a regular citizen or someone who had arrived in town. Was it worth it? ...Yes.
If Yuuko was surprised by the fact that Larxene answered so quickly she didn't show it. Yuuko merely lit her pipe. "So, we have a deal then. I will take your memories and give you a heart." Her red eyes focused on Larxene, "I do hope your ready for what will happen."
That being said, Yuuko turned to a large wardrobe and started to rummage through the contents. There were quite a few jars and boxes in it and other strange objects that Larxene might have difficulty identifying. Yuuko knew what she was looking for though and pulled it down. It was a simple jewelry box with a red ribbon tied around it.
Larxene did as she was told, for once without complaint. It was so close she could taste it, and she'd never felt anything more like excitement since she'd become a Nobody. But she'd be able to feel it for real, soon, wouldn't she?
She looked at the box curiously. She didn't claim to know how Yuuko did business, or how such things worked, but she was still amazed all she had to do was wish it back.

Whatever it was, she was sure she could find it in the city. She could be rather persuasive, after all.

"Fine."
Was it really this simple?

She turned back to Larxene, "Sit."
