How predictable, straight to business. The genie folded his arms across his chest and pouted. Jafar never could appreciate a good sense of humour. Genie doubted he was into games either unless they followed his own rules or those that would certainly play in his favour.

“Spoilsport.” He huffed, looking away from the man for a moment before speaking again. “I just wanted to ask you a few things, is that too much to ask? Why do you always have to be so mean to me?! All I ever did was love you!” the djinn began to loudly weep, reaching for the sorcerers robes to blow his nose. “I slave, and I slave, but nothing is ever good enough for you! Charles, I want a divorce!”

Oh, Jafar could certainly appreciate a sense of humor; he simply didn't consider Genie's to be good.

He rolled his eyes in exasperation as the Genie started again, talking without cease and seemingly without a point. He pried one of the Genie's hands off him with two fingers, a look of unmitigated disgust on his face. He was quickly beginning to wonder just why he put up with any of this. "Then I suggest you take that up with Charles."

Suddenly Genie sighed, his face showing no signs of his previous tears. Very well, he would he would be good. But only until he got the answers he was looking for, after that he could annoy the sorcerer to his heart’s content. If he were to continue down this path the djinn was most certain Jafar would either leave or give him a good beating with his staff before proceeding to leave. He rubbed his head at the thought.

“Fiiiine, we’ll do this the boring way and just get it over with. Some people…” Levitating at eye level with the man, Genie rested his chin in his hand and eyed him carefully. “I called this little reunion curious in regards to the time in which you were pulled from before arriving in Paixao. I am suspicious, and at this point convinced, that our times do not coincide.”
