A ruckus. That was pretty much the only way to describe things about this city. Noises and emotions seemed to abound in chaotic messes and the lack of balance between them was a bit unnerving to the Knight of Sound.
Needless to say even the walls did nothing to reduce the combined mix of erratic fear, confusion and rage from the area of the Niflheim gate. He touched his feet to the ground near the gate, uniform cape billowing behind him, simply taking the time to listen cautiously and keep aware of his surroundings.
And so he waited to see who was causing the craziness outside the city walls.
Deidara strolled in as if he hadn't left a trail of oddly glowing blue blood all around him, pausing to inspect the blood but only thinking that it really would look nice with his art--a little flourish was always nice. There were citizens, but he ignored them, as they looked much the same and shrunk away from him anyway--even while giving him dirty looks. Oh well. He grinned cheerily at them.
The man in the cape, though, stuck out, and Deidara gave him a curious once-over. Perhaps he'd come to see what was going on? Or maybe to eliminate him. That wouldn't be anything new.
For lack of anything more pressing to do, Obito had been spending the day jumping across buildings and scanning the people milling about the city for anyone he recognized. Thus far, luck had not been with him. It seemed like everybody he'd met since arriving had up and disappeared again. But, that was how the city worked, wasn't it? You appear randomly and then you disappear just as randomly
( ... )
Sasame blinked at the blonde man grinning at him. He obviously had no physical weapons on him. Sasame's only weapon he ever needed was sound, but he hoped he wouldn't have to use it. He was going to attempt to introduce himself, until a rather small individual came out of nowhere from a rooftop. He heard the shout first before seeing the young boy who froze in place, between them.
He took a deep breath, readying himself just in case he needed sound, though. "I'm Sasame. Just looking out and seeing who or what was causing the chaos over this end of the city." He paused, looking at both of them, not specifying who he was addressing, "You are?"
Deidara's attention was caught by the other ninja looking all too excited to see them. He was reminded of Tobi for a moment, in the mannerisms, in the way the boy ground to a halt when his eyes met his forehead protector. And it only made sense, Konoha and Iwa had never had the best of relations. Of course, Deidara's symbol was struck out. But the black hair, the dark eyes, it reminded him suspiciously of an Uchiha. And while Konoha-nin were annoying, Uchiha were... Special.
"Deidara," he said, still looking more at the other shinobi than at the white-haired man.

He grinned at the white-haired man, too.
