Larxene appeared from her portal not far from the museum, but enough out of sight that Yorda wouldn't be able to see it. The portals tended to look intimidating, and if the journals had shown her anything, it was that Yorda was easily manipulated, but only if treated gently.

And Larxene was just interested--and bored--enough to do so.

She strolled casually up to the museum, spotting the slightly-glowing girl (even more interesting) almost instantly.

"Hello," she chirped with a wave of her hand. "Yorda, yes?"

It was a very good thing that Yorda didn't see the portal Larxene came through; it would have reminded her of the Queen, and anything like that tended to make Yorda automatically wary. The girl had her eyes lowered and was worriedly clasping her hands together when a cheerful, sugary-sweet voice snapped her out of it.

"Oh!" Yorda smiled brilliantly at Larxene. "Yes. I am Yorda. Are you Cora?" Now what was she told? Oh, yes. "Fuck off, bitch," the princess continued - but the "greeting" she had been taught by Hamel was spoken in such a guileless and innocent way (as Yorda truly believed that Hamel was telling the truth) that the words lost what venom Hamel might have intended.

Larxene had to admit she hadn't expected that sort of response. But the tone of it, and the way she had seen Yorda act before, made her think that it was something someone had told her. After all, the girl accepted what Larxene told her easily enough.

"I am," Larxene said. "Who told you to say that?"

Yorda looked puzzled. Had she said the greeting incorrectly? Turning to Larxene, the princess nodded. "It is very nice to see you." It was even nicer with with all the confusion going around to have someone who spoke sweetly to her, rather than seeming upset.

"Hamel told me that it is a greeting," she replied. "Was he mistaken?"

"He was," Larxene said, amused but hiding it easily. "He must have been trying to keep people away from you."

Her tone added that wasn't very nice of him, but she didn't say it. Instead, she smiled sweetly and decided that now would be a good time to really start the manipulation. After all, there weren't many glowing girls around, and that must have meant she had some sort of unique talents. Why else would she have been kept hidden away in a castle?

"Shall we begin the tour?"
