By the looks of things the girl had gotten into the proper hands. Cain shifted away slightly, taking in the new arrivals, judging them only briefly. They all knew the girl, which was more than he could actually say.

And it was started to get a bit crowded in that alleyway.

He cleared his throat. "Glitch. Does this city have anywhere to stay?"

Glancing a moment to Rosette and Chrono happily greeting each other, the Doctor strode up to Donna, at first still grinning, but shifted to a fake insulted look. "Oi! It didn't take that long," he said, "Just had to make an important stop first. Well, that and not being able to dematerialize makes things a bit slower ( ... )

Rose had a warm smile spread across her face at seeing Rosette and Chrono together. It was fantastic! "Yeah, I'm fine," she said to Donna, still smiling. Then, she glanced to the Doctor. "We should go somewhere unexpected." Her gaze shifted back towards Rosette. "Any idea where they wouldn't think to look for you? There must be somewhere, I'd think."

Maybe the school would do? Only the citizens seemed to (presumably, anyway) pay attention to it.... Just... something. Long enough to get her back on her feet, although she had a feeling that Chrono could help her quickly enough with that.

Everything seemed to be coming back together now. Or at least the initial panic from earlier had finally subsided. After what may have been a while, though Chrono wasn't really keeping track of things, he loosened his grasp around Rosette. "Rosette? Are you all right? Can you stand?" He kept a hand on her shoulder, if she really wasn't all right with standing he could at least help support her in some way. The others around him did seem concerned about things still, including Rosette's health. He didn't want to just stand and give her no support if she needed it ( ... )
