The man was very interesting looking with his bright red-orange hair and facial scar, Yuuko knew there had to be a good story behind that but she wouldn't ask unless she could use it for something and for the moment she couldn't. The woman clasped her hands together and beamed at him, "You'll be perfect! Don't just stand there like a bump and come here."

She crossed over to him with that playful grin plastered on her face, "Our meeting here is fate...so there's no denying that you are the perfect one for this."

The rurouni turned his gaze back to her, and saw her positively beaming at him. So she DID mean him. Why was she looking at him like that? This... couldn't be good. He could see no means of escape, however, as she came up to him.

"O-oro? Perfect for what?" Kenshin asked, looking a bit worried. He had a bad feeling about this. Yuuko was setting off alarm bells left, right and center.

"For helping me clean up of course," Yuuko exclaimed, gesturing towards the building she had been examining not five seconds ago. "Normally I wouldn't ask something of a complete stranger but since I know of no one here anyway that makes that a moot point," Yuuko explained, draping an arm over the man's shoulder so he really couldn't leave.

She paused and then in a sing-song voice added, "I can make it worth your time~"

Another squeek of 'ororoo' came out of Kenshin's mouth as she was right against him, her arm his shoulders. She was so much taller than him... She was reminding the rurouni a little of Megumi. Yes, definitely Megumi, although perhaps much, much worse. He really should have just kept on walking.

"C-Cleaning?" he repeated, his voice going up a couple octives. "S-sessha was meant to be, ah, trying to find a way to help an aquaintence, de gozaru," Kenshin tried to explain, trying to see if he had any hope at all of getting out of this. Although, he got the feeling she might not take no for an answer.

There was no escape for the man now, really once you fell in Yuuko's clutches that was it. At least...that's what her former servant, Watanuki, would have told him. Still, he wasn't here to give such a warning so Yuuko just continued to grin...and plot.

"Oh~ what if you help me and then I accompany you to help you or your aquanintence...see...it's fair," Yuuko said, picking up on his want to escape. She leaned in closer, "You wouldn't really leave a poor shopkeeper to clean up all by herself would you?"

"S-sessha supposes he cannot, de gozaru," he replied, a sense of dread falling over him. It didn't look like she was going to take no for an answer, and who knows, maybe she really could be helpful in some way. There was something really strange about her, however.

At least he was rather experienced with cleaning. Kaoru-dono had made sure of that. "What would you like sessha to clean?"

"Follow me~," she said in a sing-song voice dragging him towards the newly discovered building and trying the handle for the first time, luckily it was unlocked so she wouldn't have to ask the man to break it open for her. She smiled and slipped into the building and looked around, dusty, as she had expected but fully furnished with old furniture and had a nice scent to it...yes this place would work wonderfully as her temporary shop here.

She gestured to the furniture, "Dusting really...perhaps a little moving around of some things! Ah! But you'll need supplies won't you." Yuuko tapped her chin before moving off to a closet down the hall and opening it. There were mops and brooms inside as well a rags for dusting and buckets. She took the out and set them before the man, "There! Now you can get started." It didn't look like Yuuko was going to help but that was because she had things to explore in the shop...things like the fact that it might have a wine cellar or treasure room...you never knew until you looked, right?

He had no choice but to be dragged into the building. How long had it been abandoned? Judging from the dust on the floor it had been some time. It certainly did need dusting and airing out, which was the job he, of course, was being given.

Kenshin sighed and crouched down, looking at the various supplies she'd dug out. The mop was something of a new thing for him, but everything else he knew well. Taking a dusting cloth, he nodded, "Alright."

The rurouni, being no stranger to cleaning, figured he'd tackle dusting off the furnature, and opening some windows for the dust to escape. He'd work on sweeping and the like after that. It seemed like a good plan.

Yuuko watched him work for a few moments, crossing her arms and leaning in the doorway, oh yes he was quite a good worker she could tell. It hadn't taken her long to hook him in either. Of course now she WOULD have to repay him for his help and she would...he had said something about helping an aquanintence after all.

Once she was satisfied he would continue dusting till the job was done she turned to go explore the rest of the house and find the things she would need to begin setting up wards and spells for the perimeter and fence.
