AndrAIa followed closely behind Zidane as they made their way towards the destruction and chaos. That feeling, what humans might call unnatural and she termed artificial, crawled over her skin and sent tingles throughout her body. It made the hackles on the back of her neck stand up, and the spines on her wrist stiffen in anticipation.

AndrAIa's trident was still present, tightly firmly in her pale hand. Her fingernails, painted a sea-green to match her swaying hair, were sharpened points, quite similar to darts if one looked closely enough.

Unfortunately, she was not familiar enough with Paixao's skyline to determine which building had gone missing, and so she relied on Zidane for that information... "Where was the building that fell?"

Zidane had been doing good leading for awhile, and thought they were making good progress, and maybe it was only when AndrAIa spoke up that he started to slow down and... feel lost. "Um." He didn't stop, and he certainly didn't look back for them to see his confused expression. It was much easier to tell from atop the buildings! But he wasn't in the mood to climb up anything right now and...

He turned a corner and his pace died then; a dead halt. He swallowed and stepped back, hopefully not into anyone. "W-What the hell is that...?" He didn't think it was the direction he was supposed to be going towards, but it definitely was many, many kinds of not good. "That.... looks like it could be a problem..."

His hands unconsciously went down to his daggers. Hopefully it hadn't noticed them yet.

Given its size, there were a lot of things that occasionally escaped Sin's notice. People were not one of those things. As a matter of fact, it took something of an interest in humanity as a whole, albeit from a rather distant point of view. It was there to rid the city-planet of everything that lived and so far the citizens of the city had proved utterly uninteresting.

This strange new pair of people though... they had promise. They had life, something that the natives seemed to lack. Well, with such prime specimens why not set about doing as it had been designed to do. Of course, it wasn't going to try anything with first catching their attention and so it sent a bolt of lightning crackling just over their heads.

Now, to see how they'd react.

AndrAIa glared at the creature as the electricity tingled through her body. She had landed hard on the ground, almost knocking the breath out of her, a few feet to the left of where she had been standing a moment before. Turning her head, she looked towards Zidane. "You okay?" she asked, then returned her attention to the creature. If Matrix were here, he'd be having a ball...

Pushing herself to her feet, she asked, "Have a plan?"

She gripped her trident tightly in her hand, her stance noticeably defensive. This *really* wasn't good...
