Character(s): Furude Rika, Kino Makoto, open to all
Content: Rika arrives at a hotel and gets herself a room. She runs into Makoto.
Setting: Actua Are [J7]
Time: late evening
Warnings: none

( It had taken her longer than she thought to arrive at a hotel. )

Makoto followed the young girl up to her room, then waited for Rika to enter, following after her again. She wasn't that superstitious either, and paid no mind to the number on the door. It was just another number to her. Sitting down in a chair near the wall, she watched the girl for a few moments.

"So, you said you just arrived here? How long exactly?" She asked, remembering that she had been here for a bit over a year...it had been a long time, really. She was always wondering what was going on back at home, if the other Senshi had been looking for her...

"This morning," Rika said, looking over her room. There was a nice, large window, a queen-sized bed, a room that appeared to be the bathroom, and a desk in the corner. Not a bad place at all. She could easily live here for a while. "Have you been here for a while?"

She moved to sit on the bed, her feet throbbing dully now that they weren't in use, but the pain fading quickly enough as she kept her weight off them.

"Yeah." Makoto said, looking over at the girl. "A bit over a year actually." And a lot had happened in that year too...Usagi appeared, then disappeared, Makoto met up with Setsuna and had set a plan of action...it had been interesting, yet little had been accomplished.

She was silent for a while. "I see."

Could she really be gone that long? Longer? What sort of world would she return to? Would Hinamizawa still be there? Would her friends be okay? After all the work she had done...

She fell back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

Fran found the Actua Are hotel easily, not having to look at the map a second time because she had already memorized its contents. On the train, she had read quite a bit of the information available to her in the journal and picked several crystalline leaves, as it had instructed her, as she walked from the station. She had passed many more of the blond people as she walked, and she had greeted each of them. This had made it take quite a while to reach the Actua Are hotel, and the light of the artificial sun had become dim and ruddy.

'Hello!' she greeted the concierge when she arrived at the front desk.

'Hello,' the concierge replied, raising an eyebrow at her. 'You're looking for a room?'

Auron hadn't been specific about why she was supposed to come here, but it was a hotel and so it was logical that she would want a room. 'Yes, thank you,' she replied with a pleasant smile ( ... )

Makoto smiled sadly at the young girl. She seemed concerned at the amount of time she would be there. Sighing, she stood to go close the door, which was still open. As she placed her hand on the knob, she noticed another girl standing in the hallway. She looked a little bit lost.

"Hi!" She said. "You ok?" She asked, smiling at her. She really did look a bit lost.

Upon hearing Makoto address someone else, Rika sat up, hid her sadness, and looked curiously out the door. The woman really did look lost.

"Hello," she said, smiling. "Are you new, too?"

This place did tend to be disorienting.
