Character(s): Vincent Valentine and Yaten Content: Girl/Boy person meets a TURK. Vincent has heart problems. Setting: Just inside the Vanaheim gate. Time: Tuesday Afternoon. Warnings: None.
Yaten paused as the black-haired person approached, eyebrows going together. The white-haired young man looked up at the taller, darker-haired male, green eyes just flashing. If someone could see through his disguise--
--This is NOT where you came from, Yaten reminded himself. From what he could tell, nobody here had heard about the Sailor Wars, or Sailor Galaxia.
He was relativley safe.
"...In a way," Yaten said. "And I'm... not female." He fidgeted. Talking about gender always got him antsy- he was originally female, after all.
"...And how would that be?" One hand- the one not holding the journal- went into his pants pocket, curling around the brooch held within.
Vincent noticed something. It..was a boy. How did he manage to think he was a she. Actually, taking a second to look the boy up and down he did look a LOT like a girl. Very pretty too. Wait, did he just think a boy was pretty? Lucrecia, he thought, what is wrong with me??
"I'm, terribly sorry. I...didn't know..." He didn't know what else to say about that. And after staring at the boy for a moment or two, it certainly became awkward fast.
"Well, I've been here for a few days and I've noticed a few things," he said. Vincent was going to list some of the odd things, however, it started to rain, and Vincent hated the rain. Without thinking he asked, "Do you want to go some where to get out of the rain?" Oh my, Vincent, asking young boys to go somewhere alone with you.
Yaten shrugged. "It's okay," he said, shrugging it off. After all, he was originally female. The white-haired young man nodded at the question, glaring at the rain. Yeeah, it wasn't his favorite thing, either. "Why not?" he asked.
The lighter-haired of the two sighed. "I'm Yaten Kou... and you are?" Hey, if nobody here recognized his civillian form or name?
That just happened to be awesome. No screaming fangirls throwing themselves at him, just because he was one of three high school idols.
"I'm Vincent Valentine. I'm a bodyguard. Sort of. What do you do?" He simply tried making small talk as the headed to the nearest inn. Then something happened. The rain became a lot harder, and was starting to get the two soaked.
Looking next to him, Vincent saw Lucrecia. Not some boy he just met. And got lost in a memory. Instead of Paixao he saw Midgar, on a day like that day, with the rain coming down. In perfect gentleman fashion he took off his suit coat, putting it over Lucrecia, or was it Yaten? He truely thought he was with the woman he fell in love with, and was replaying the memory without thinking.
The two ran for a short while close together, with Vincent's coat over the boy he thought was a girl.
As soon as they were out of the rain, he snapped back into reality, just as he was opening the door for the image of Lucrecia, which now was Yaten. And another pain shot through his heart, forcing him to kneel down to get a grip.
Yaten paused. "I... er, well, I'm a member of a band." Yaten made a face at the rain, then blinked up at Vincent.
...What in the--? Yaten squinted, running a little to keep pace with the taller male.
When Vincent started kneeling, though, alarm bells went off in Yaten's head. "O-oi! Vincent!" He dropped down to eye level with the darker-haired male, green eyes worried. "Are you alright?"
Goddamnit, why did this remind him of the Wars? He'd see people hurt, and even with the name "Sailor Star Healer", he was no healer at all... "Oi!"
