Vincent had arrived just in time. He was slightly exhausted fro, running and jumping from that far away at full speed, but with the idea that he would finally get to see Lucrecia again it wasn't that bad. And his shot was flawless.
Jumping down from the rooftop, Vincent landed in a crouch, taking his time to address the woman. It had been a long time since he had seen her alive, and he wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. Lifting his head up, Vincent locked eyed with her. It was her alright. No doubt. The Ex-Turk made his way to his long lost love, his footsteps clicking against the ground.
"Lucrecia," was all he said to her, stopping a few feet away from her.

"Mhm," was the sound he made, not exactly making real words. Even if Vincent was relieved more than ever to see her, he was still the same person deep down. Quiet, stoic and unfeeling.
"We should get somewhere safe," he said to Lucrecia, checking the area again. He stood with his arms crossed, with a happy look on his face that still could have been read as sorrowful. Then out of no where he said, "It's good to see you again Lucrecia."

“It’s good to see you too…” she grinned a bit, “It’s only been a couple decades” she said, with a bit of humor in her words. Lucrecia scanned the area a bit, trying to find a place where they could sit and talk; without being interrupted by whatever those white creatures where. There was so much she had to tell him. After all these years…she could finally tell him everything.

"Come on," he said, his voice barely letting his emotion seep through. He hated being out in the open with Lucrecia when those things could attack at any moment. And he wasn't going to lose her to one of them right when he finally got her.
"Let's head into that building," Vincent said, pointing at one of the nearby buildings. He pulled her along his longer strides probably making it a little tough for her to keep up. He wasn't trying ot be a jerk, he was just trying ot keep her safe.

“Sorry!” she flushed lightly, embarrassed. “It’s the heels….” Lucrecia pointed to them.
Maybe she needed more practical shoes…she’d make a mental note to buy some later.
After adjusting her shoe, she moved so she was next to him, hopefully to prevent herself from tripping again. Still holding his hand, she squeezed it gently.
“I promise I’ll keep up this time.”

In a few moments Vincent kicked open the locked door with his metal shoe, breaking into the obviously empty but still well furnished building. He set Lucrecia down to her feet, and made short work of barricading the door. Those things were back and a lot of them this time. But with the barricade he set up there was no way they were getting inside.
Turning back to Lucrecia, he looked her up and down, to see if she was intact. She was still just a beautiful..
"Are you alright?" he asked her, taking a small step toward her, to comfort her if she allowed it.

He could explain things to her later; right now she wanted to tell him how she really felt after all these years. Lucrecia smiled faintly, if not sadly.
“Vincent…there is so much I need to tell you.” She began softly, “I made so many mistakes….I hope you can forgive me for hurting you. I never meant to…”

When Lucrecia started apologizing Vincent just felt his head start sinking down until he was staring at the floor. There was a lot he wanted to say, but nothing could come out. So he just stayed silent.

“I loved you…and I still do.”
Her eyes began to water up slightly, as a hand rose to hold her head. “When…I saw you…lying there, half dead....I…I was so scared. I didn’t want you to die….I tried everything to save you! And….I…” she eyes looked distance, “I’m so sorry…” she whispered, burying her face in her hands.
“I hope you can forgive me…I just want to start over…”
