Why him? Why did they want him to do this too? Demyx peered from the shadows of the hood that concealed his identity. He had a perfect view of the Dancer’s rampage from the rooftops above. The Nobody stood solemnly and unmoving.

Was this really right? No… it had to be. These were the Superior’s orders. The Superior was right… He was always right… If Demyx followed his every order and did every task, he would get his heart back as promised. But now did he even deserve it? He questioned the boss’ orders, though they were private, meant only for himself. He wasn’t the right man for the job. He shouldn’t be here. But he had to be.

The Dancers were relentless, or so Demyx noticed. He had only told them to do what the Superior wanted: seek out a worthy target. Well… at least they seemed to be enjoying himself. Personally, Demyx just wanted to get this over with.

The Nobody shifted slightly, pulling the hood further down. At least he didn’t have to fight himself.

At least he hoped not.

How could anybody expect her to sleep when there was so much noise being made outside? The screams of the townspeople reached Morrigan's ears and managed to awaken the beauty her from her slumber ( ... )

Megara had hopped a train not too long after her arrival into the city-- as soon as she was sure the mode of transportation would take her where she felt she might be able to find a way out, which took a bit longer than she'd wanted. All right, a lot longer. Too long, but she eventually became sure.

Her first stop, it was decided, would be Vanaheim. The decision was hard, at first, mainly because so much of Paixao confused or fascinated her, but duty eventually won out over curiousity. She had to get back to Greece, or at least run into Hercules or Hades.

...She had been expecting to search for a way out after reaching Vanaheim's gate area, but what she found as she approached was something she was not prepared to deal with. The nimble creatures, while strangely alluring, were obviously not welcome in this area of the city-- that was, if the screams accounted for anything.

And they didn't look friendly, anyway.

"...Great," she huffed irritatedly and drooped her shoulder, pushing her way as calmly as possible through the mass of ( ... )

Zelos strolled out into the morning air, and stretched. He was feeling much better after the fight with Riku the previous day. A good night of sleep, and his last Apple Jell, did a body good. He wasn’t to worried about using his last Jell, he was lucky to even have it at all. He figured the citizens of this city were harmless enough, and he was sure that he could take Riku now that he knew the kids capabilities. He would just have to make sure Sora didn’t distract him again. Besides, Zelos was sure that there was nothing too dangerous in this city, there didn’t even appear to be any monsters ( ... )

No! Nothing here! Nothing at all!

The one track minds of the Dancers were set on one task and one task alone: find the worthy targets. None of these people seemed to even have an inkling of courage! They would not join in the dance! Did they only want to hide in the wings, off-stage and hidden? There was no fun in that!

But here… perhaps this was the star of the show! A new man stumbled through and took center stage. He even brought a brilliant light show with him!

Many of the group had fallen from the powerful only to be replaced by more who gracefully slid from the shadows, surrounding the newcomer.

Now it was time to dance!
