Then turning around to face Rei again, she smiles at the girl, "I don't think you should walk around with that kind of injury." Death gestures to the sofas scattered around the hall, "sit there first while I get you a doctor, 'kay?" With a brief toothy smile, she turns around and walks cheerfully toward the reception desk. She hopes that the girl will follow her instruction as she really thinks that walking around will make Rei feel much worse.

Rei knew the smell of hospitals very well. She liked the smell, to some extent. It was comforting. She didn't like the finer smells, the ones she could pick up sometimes when turning in the hall... blood. It disgusted her. She could stand it while in the entry plug, but in other places it made her feel as if she were drinking it.
Rei listened to Death. There was no other option, and the woman hadn't done anything to make Rei suspicious of her. The distance to the nearest sofa was short. A few strides would have gotten her there. But Rei took one step and fell onto the sofa, quietly and without a fuss. As Death went towards the desk, Rei struggled to pull herself into a relatively comfortable position.

Death does not have anything to pay the medical bills with, but she hopes that things will go well and she would not have to pay. If things turn bad, then well, she can probably offer to put it as debt and get a job. A normal human's job requires very little compared to her current job, so it should be easy to 'fit' one into her schedule. She is starting to think way ahead though, and brushing the matter off of her mind, Death gives the man another smile, "it would be good if you can get her someone as soon as possible."

Rei looked up as the doctor approached her. He didn't seem like any of the doctors that had worked with her recently. All she could remember were stern faces and set jaws, men and women doing their work without comment. Rei wasn't sure what to think about the man, and said nothing, staring at him with her one good eye. It was obvious what her injuries were.
