( Kadaj kept his hood up as he made his way towards the center of Paixao, eyes searching among the blonde-haired, blue-eyed citizens for one person in particular-Jenova. )

Still no sign of her. Kadaj was getting frustrated, and quickly. He had been waiting for this moment for so long, and now that it was finally within his grasp, he couldn't find her. Every new face he glanced to was more of the same, blonde hair and blue eyes-- infuriating. He was starting to hate that coloration; all it ever did was mock him. Just like... someone... someone else ( ... )

Kadaj winced as the hood was pulled back, but did not raise his head just yet. She didn't seem very pleased with him... he would just have to work harder then. Slowly, he rose to his feet, glancing around. There didn't seem much point in replacing his hood, not when Jenova knew his identity now. Besides which, other than his hair the other more distinguishing markings were covered now, so it was unlikely he could be linked to Axel just by sight ( ... )
