Have you yet to attempted to any sort of deviation of chronological travel in this castle? Whether that be forward or backward, it matters not which direction.

Not yet; the TARDIS needed to recuperate from my regeneration, not to mention the trip here.

I wonder if your younger self has made any attempts... While the castle seems powerful enough to have bound us here, whether or not it would permit time travel is still questionable.
