mac osx help for address book?

I've been having issues using iChat and Adium and I diagnosed it to a corrupt address book. Here's the history. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how to get my +500 contacts back ( Read more... )

A deft scripter could probably use the metadata file to create a valid vcard file, which could then be imported back into AddressBook.

Beyond that, if the AddressBook.data file and its associated backup files are indeed corrupted, I'm not sure I have any helpful suggestions (assuming you don't have any backups from before the corruption occurred).

I'm no scripter of any kind, so I just restored from backup, although it's old - from May and I made some changes to them, but at least, I have most of the information back. Hoping this will work. It seems to have. Keeps fingers crossed.
