The grant that I submitted to the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation for the Internet Archive, for $1 million was just approved! I worked hard on this. Fuck yeah!

That's SO GOOD! What are they going to do with it?

The Archive is one of the few things that makes me want to go make a bunch of money just so I can give it to them.

This money is going to the "collections" group. This is the group that intakes collections from institutions, and people, and then puts it up online in an orderly fashion. They also do QA when things go wrong with specific items so that they can get fixed.
