movies I want to see this winter

• Bee Season - looks interesting and was partially filmed at UCB
• Brokeback Mountain - looks like a beautiful film and a gripping story
• Chronicles of Narnia - loved the books as a kid - let's see what Disney did to the story.
• Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Yay Harry Potter!
• The Ice Harvest - my sister's partner, Billy, worked on

I want to go see Bee Season, at least, and maybe Memoirs of a Geisha.

What are you up to next weekend? I think Bee Season is playing now. Memoirs of a Geisha doesn't open until sometime in December.

If by saying "next weekend" a few days ago you meant this weekend that's starting tomorrow, I'm unfortunately busy (at least at any sensible movie-watching times of day), and I'm not around the following weekend. Also, I should probably see first of all if zdamiana wants to see it with me, since she's the one who gave me the book. But thanks for asking! If in a few weeks neither of us has seen it, still, I'll get back to you.

Beth and I are going to try and do a Harry Potter / Walk the Line double feature. We're big Johnny Cash fans. Beth loved the Geisha book, I'll have to tell her about it.
