That was lovely. The interaction between Pete and his parents rings so true on both sides. The fear and hope from Pete balanced against the love and shame his father was feeling set the right tone for what followed.

This is a scene I really wish had been in the movie and you wrote it just the way it needed to flow.

It was different to write (by intent) so I'm glad it came out well and matched what we know about them. I'm just really liking Pete and Griff's family and I can't wait to write their meeting (still not sure of Jamie is going to crash it or not) later this month.

So many more scenes need to be in the movie but it is what it is.
