One of the deconversion problems I have been having is meaning to life. I have many things that are fulfilling. I have friends who I can rely on. I have an opportunity to play hostess. There was a lot of nice research done on prisoners in the old Soviet Union that forced hard labour was actually extremely beneficial for mental problems. [Most prison sentences at the time involved hard labour, and not the gratuitous spin the flywheel hard labour of 18th Century Britain or current Western military discipline - making the work physically demanding but also showing that something was actually accomplished improved benefits.]

Cycling would be much more fun without cars and dog-owners on long leashes who decide that the bikeway is the perfect place to walk their dog each evening.

And yes, being cursorial hunters is fun. Now go catch and eat that horse!
