“here,” jaejoong says with the offered peach extended, red-blossom bite, fuzz and all. his fingers are sticky as they skitter up yoochun’s arm. you’re not eating, they say, in little breathy patterns against his skin. yoochun takes a bite.
a satisfied smile.
it’s raining outside and they have the window open. jaejoong watches the sky and yoochun watches the water seeping in from the sill, glistening dark and bottomless against the black frame. “second flood,” he comments.
“hope the rules are different this time,” jaejoong muses. “when the world goes under, they have to take the five of us.”
yoochun lies down, parallel to the window, the sheets cool against his bare arms. “yeah,” he says, fingers tightening on the cloth. “they better.”
the strike of lightning hollows them out; pale illumination with their shadows like giants against the wall.
