[Amy can be found running through the rain, stopping until she manages to get under a tree. At the sound of the thunder crashing and a flash of lightning, she screams, and ducks down beneath the branches, drenched and trying to protect herself with her arms.]

[Nervously, she peeks up at the human, sniffling.. both out of cold and being entirely miserable.]

Y-Yes it is! M-My dress is ruined! [She whines, shivering and feeling absolutely pathetic but whatever, she can direct that to her dress. Yeah.]

[She sniffles.] H-Home? Y-You can take me home? [She appears a bit hesitant, but it vanishes at the next crack of thunder. Eeeep.]

[Sonic had been enjoying himself, the rain actually offering a nice kick to his usual running routine. Drifting around a corner in the city, he felt himself sliding as the rain relentlessly continued to pour down upon him. Hydroplaning, rather.]

Finally! Something interesting! ... Huh?

[Coming across a park, the blue hedgehog came to a sliding halt, almost losing his balance as a scream seemed to call out to him in the harsh storm. Either it was the storm that had frightened somebody or it was genuine distress and danger. Either way, Sonic was not the kind of hedgehog to turn his back on someone in distress. Making his way through the park, he froze in his tracks at the sound of a very familiar voice; eyes widening like saucers.]

[Amy whimpered. She knew this was ridiculous, but the rain was so hard, and she had no idea where she was! She would have sought better shelter, but the fact that there was none she could get into made that hard, and the fact that she lost her way back to that church..]

....nnn.. I want to go home.. [She sniffled, lowering her arms to hug herself tightly, trying to retain some warmth. At this rate, she was going to freeze to death, if she didn't start moving or something.]

...? [The voice certainly caught her attention, and she straightened up a bit, before she turned quickly to stare, wide eyed, up at the blue hedgehog. Offering.. his hand.. to her.]

S-Sonic! [She exclaimed, forgetting for the moment how soggy and miserable she felt, as she reached out her hand to take his and allow herself to be pulled up.] I found... [Her sentence stopped for a moment, interrupted by a sneeze, which was quickly directed into her free arm.]

...you. [Sniffle. Great. Someone's getting a cold.]

[...what's this, no glomp? No trying to squeeze him to death? This must have been his lucky day! Helping her up, he couldn't help but smile. Really, sometimes it was a pain trying to avoid her when she was on one of her fangirlish missions. But she was also a very close friend to him; and that wasn't going to change, rain or shine.]
