An absence of Altruism.

Its funny sometimes, when I look at the people in my life, and can't help thinking that some of them are so. fucked. up.
And then I realize that just as many people look at me and think exactly the same thing.
We can't hide from ourselves.  No one really has an edge.

We all see right through each other...

And sure, we take different approaches to ( Read more... )

P.s.

Sayaka don't take this personally. Or if you do... take it as a compliment.

sometimes, it scares me to think what some people must think of me...

but, jacqui, if what you say is true -

"we are all fucked up and perfect in our own little way - and we all know it"

- then i take great comfort in that.

I think you have little to be worried about in terms of what other people think of you... from what I hear, it's all good :)

Still, glad you got something positive out of this entry.

agh i didn't,

it was an annoying topic discussed last night, but atleast we can agree 'we're' fucked up on the same level.

i'd rather be humanized then put on a pedalstool or be just simply degraded.

it's a compliment if the thought is carried on after it happend.

*strikes a pose*

Whoa! That was pretty deep for the first thing I've read this morning(er afternoon, I keep forgetting most people keep normal hours).

It's all perception. You still awaken from your blissful slumber wanting to be the best, because it is your perception of what the best is. Other peoples perception quite likely differ, but it does not make them any less true.

We are all fucked up, every last one of us! The degree is subjective to the perceptions of each person around us. As there is free will, there is free thought. Depending on the person, we rank differently.

And then there is me. I see myself as whimsically, wonderfully eccentric the rest of the planet probably thinks I'm off my rocker.

Some might see me as racist. I don't percieve myself that way...I hate everyone equally, just some more equally than others.

I have a different personality for each day of the week. But I'm perfect.

Personal perception baby!
