So I have been looking at my icons and I kinda sorta really hate them. I am tempted to just stop all together, bc I don't like anything I make, and I dont know how to make them any better. I did this when I started writing fanfiction. I got to a point where I decided I was less than mediocre at it, and I quit. I dont want to quit making graphics, ( Read more... )

I love the first one, the coloring is hot and it's so crisp and clean without being overdone. Dude you're 389402x better than a lot of icon makers out there. Really, don't sell yourself short and stop, you're really good. OTH caps are really hard to work with begin with, they don't have a natural lighting/coloring like other tv shows caps like Veronica Mars (which has tons of color to work with) or Lost. So maybe your should try others to inspire your muse a bit ;)

I just get so frustrated, bc nothing I make is any good IMO. And then I lose the will to do it, until eventually I dont do it at all, and I so dont want that to happen with my icons, and graphics. Blah.

I really like them. They're simple and they are all clear and crisp and perfect! Please don't quit.

i really like these icons, truly and honestly... and i have several others that you have made. just remember that you are your own worst critic so some of the things that you see as crap other people truly appreciate. besides it takes talent to make these icons... i wish i could do it. i dont think you should give up!
