- My flights and Eurostar ticket are now booked.
- I'm still trying to book a bus ticket for a return trip to Edinburgh. A friend suggested Megabus (very cheap) but their online booking won't work with my Canadian Visa card. I guess the next thing to try is the Nat'l Express site (not as cheap).
- The hotel in London is booked for two nights. Looks very

We're not totally sure about the hostel, but this place looked nice: http://www.syha.org.uk/SYHA/Web/Site/Hostels/EdinburghCentral.asp
Their private rooms aren't that much more than two dorm beds, so we'd probably go with that. Any other suggestions?

See if you can't take one of those graveyard tours in Edinburgh, the ones where they tell you there are poltergeists and take you out and make you stand in a tomb at midnight and such--I took one when I was there and it was an absolute hoot. :)

Also the Ghosts & Ghouls tour looks cool, I am totally into things like that.
There is so much I want to see too... it is definitely going to be a packed week and things will probably have to fall by the wayside but we are young and can go back ;)

So I was wondering: Do you think you could possibly write a post-cum-tutorial about how you go about planning your trips? The two times I've been to Yurp (g), I went with others, but I'm getting more and more into the idea of taking off on my own--however, the idea of planning it all puts in me into a mild panic attack.
