SF MOMA

Here are some pics from a visit to SF MOMA on Tuesday.

Looking through one of the second floor galleries.

Copper mask by Sargent Johnson.

Yves Klein really loved the color blue.  He loved it so much he created a special blue hue, International Klein Blue.

Interesting shadows beneath a Ruth Asawa hanging basket sculpture.

Abstract painting detail, or surface of alien planet?  You decide.

Kathryn Spence's "Untitled (Pigeons, sparrows & blackbirds)" is comprised of street trash, wire, glue and string.

Joseph Stella's "Bridge" will always have a special meaning to me, because wondering why he painted so many versions of the Brooklyn Bridge opened my mind to the value of exploring different aspects of something.

Bay Area architecture firm Rael San Fratello's "Drawing the Line" explores various conceptual dismantlings of the U.S.-Mexico border wall; here's one of the architectural drawings from the series.

This is a detail from Manila-based artist Poklong Anading's "Anonymity," which explores redefining identity.

Miscellaneous doorways and hallways in the museum.
