Any God worth your time, or Betty's, is not going to shut her out of Heaven because someone else misled her.
(And yeah, the NWT does not even deserve to be called a "translation", because that word implies an attempt to render what the original says, not what you think it ought to have said.)
I don't know that I agree with (some of) that, as I believe there is only one God and I can’t give Him time, because it is all His in the first place.
The Bible says that God alone knows the contents of our hearts and thus who will or won’t go to heaven. For me, Christianity is not just about going to Heaven, it’s about living the “abundant life” that Jesus himself said he came to bring to us, and which Betty badly needs.
Also, by that logic (... because someone else misled her), anyone misled into any sin or corruption could claim that as an excuse. Adam tried ("The woman you put here with me - she gave me some fruit...") and it didn’t go too well for him.

If you want to see one of the most extreme examples of "translation”, try The Joseph Smith Translation of the King James Bible. He’s just gone ahead and written whole new sections!
What I meant was that, if you believe that God is good, you do not need to fear that God will reject Betty for something outside of her control (e.g., being misled). Adam's excuse was quite different, because he himself had already been given the commandment not to eat the fruit, which Eve could not countermand, and thus Adam had no just cause in trying to pass the blame. Had he never received such a commandment, and instead been told by the evil, evil woman that eating it was okay, God would have had no just cause for condemning him for doing so. If God is righteous, God will not do what is unrighteous
