Vintage prettiness

I went out yesterday and trawled a few charity shops and jumble sales, spent £5 and got nine DVDs, a brooch, a couple of vintage traycloths and two books (one of which was Where's My Cow? by Terry Pratchett, for my 33 year-old husband. He was delighted.)

It offers holiday stays in the country in stately homes, castles,country houses,manors and guests can do a range of traditional english country activities, tours and particpate in the UK social season if they choose.It all sounds terribly english but quite a good laugh.

I came across the first link the Conde Neste Travellers Magazine and the second link with the National Trust when I was living there and when I used to visit the family, very big outfit and well known.Just thought of you.
