Why must it be so early?

So. We're off to Eggleston for Morrigan's heart cath. For those who haven't heard (most of you, I'm sure), Mo has PDA (Patent Ductus Artereosis). This is a little vein/valve/tubey thingy that runs from the aorta to the pulmonary vein, bypassing the lungs (while in utero). It normally closes within 24 hours of birth, but can sometimes take longer.

Holy crap. I go away from LJ for two months and so much happens...poor little M! I hope she's doing better now. I'm thinking the most positive thoughts I have in her direction.
