Well, I've been thinking.

You know how in stories people are defined by their children. By the strong characteristics and attributes that swam through the gene pool and were passed down to their offspring.

I have been learning a lot about myself by reversing this effect...I've been drawing parallels between the decisions my parents and myself make in ( Read more... )

Don’t feel so bad Paddy, I’m as awful as you are. (not sure if that sounded too inspiring, but whatever, I’m functioning on 4 hours sleep.) I always ask for things I don’t need, but if I really need it, I never ask. That’s just one example. =P Of many.

This term, I told myself that I was going to try harder. That I was going to stop using the fact that I understand things easily to muck around in class. That I would stop bitching behind people’s backs, and tell the people I only pretend to like that I hate their guts and wish that they would go and fuck off.

So, really, everyone is human, and at least by recognising your faults you know you’re not vain.

I agree with Cuba. It's really important to find out who you are, your various attributes and weaknesses, that way you can understand where you need to improve or what situations to avoid (if necessary).

You should all try the Jung Typology test, which calculates what personality type you are, it also suggests what jobs would best suit you. I think you can just find it in Google.

And at least you don't have horrible traits like being a moody cow or being violent :)
