I'm glad to announce that your usually weird Poodles/Paddu/[insert rest of my rather long list of nicknames here] is back in business. Reason for this update? I assume 'Fasching Tuesday' is what I'd call 'Shrove Tuesday', aka pancake day, right? The last day before Lent when you have to use up all the fats and dairy products and, in England at least, that means you make pancakes. Any excuse is a good one, in my opinion, where pancakes are concerned. It's not that much of a big deal really over here, even to the religious - what do you guys do?

Erm, no, not really... As far as I know, Fasching doesn't have anything to do with religion. It's what the Germans call Karneval... Fasching is the Austrian word. 'Carnival' in English, according to my dictionary. Duh, I should have thought of looking it up in the dictionary right away, heh... Sorry for the confusion. And Faschingsdientstag (which I roughly translated to Fasching Tuesday) is just, well, the last day of Fasching, and usually the day where most Fasching activities take place (ie, dressing up, Fasching parties, and even some lessons cancelled at school...).

But you started! And, as Star and I always say, making your interests an acceptable excuse for homework is gooood. And then we sit back and watch anime in Japanese since she's studying Japanese and needs practice reading and listening. See? It's homework! *sends more motivation*

Heheheheheh! I like your definition of getting started. And of being productive. Would suit me juuuust fine too.

Fasching/Karnival sounds like our Fastelavn, except that it's *really* not a big deal unless you're 5 and get squeezed into a costume. Or 10. Though 12 would be going a bit too far.

I think I'll deliver a bit of paranoia in my next entry. I don't have time to write it, but I like to keep people in suspense, so pardon that you're my victim. Mwuhahah! *Cough*
