I felt so sorry for them throughout that. Funny, sad and sweet at different times- nice! I'm glad they finally said: "Okay, this is it! We're doing it now!" because carpe diem and all that!

When I saw the prompt I just had to have it. And it's been two years since I wrote any fic, so that says something fo rhow much I wanted that prompt.

Very well done. You managed to make it believable that they would keep moving the actual ceremony... all so McCoy could keep Jim safe, but when that wasn't working out, they gave in.
