Wow...been forever since I've dropped by. Let's see...Lots has happened since then. Daughter #1 is in college, freshman year. Daughter #2 is 16 now and we're going to have to pursue the whole...y'know, learner's permit and driver's license thing, etc

Happy belated birthday. The big 5-0 is a hard one, or at least it was for me. I know what you mean about time speeding by - I still find it hard to believe that I'm a grandmother. I go by Nonna because being called "grandma" just freaked me out too much. Hope everything is going well and good luck with driving lessons.

*hug* Long time, no see. I hope things are also well with you. :) :) :) And yup...I've survived being 50 for a whole week today, so I imagine it shan't be completely terrible. ;) lol

Never underestimate the power of being grandma, tho'. You'll impact those kids more than you realize. :)

I'm embracing my mom's view of grandparents - spoil them rotten and send them home!!!!! My first grandchild was born 9 years ago and I just could not identify with being called grandma, so I went with Nonna. I would probably be okay with it now, but I"m already Nonna and I like that name. My new granddaughter it just 4 months and she is a doll.
