Seriously. I mean, the guy was friendly and calm, and he had that one derp moment we all have at some point, it's just that most of the time luck prevents anything worse. Not just this time. His navigation system said he had to turn, so he did. Without looking.

Oh, that's rough! Now I feel kinda sorry for him. But, still . . . ah, well. I'll bet he'll be very careful to look in future!

So sorry you had an accident! Airbags can save your life but can be very damaging as well. A man I worked with had a small slow impact accident, (this was back in the 1990's when airbags had some metal mesh coverings) and when the airbag deployed it damaged the skin on the insides of his arms so badly he needed skin grafts!

So glad all involved came out unhurt *hugs*

Our pups are getting old!! Cayman is going to be 10 this year! Testament to how much we love and care for them :)

Gosh yes, I've heard quite a few horror stories about airbags. Especially with slow impacts they can be more dangerous than helpful. This time though I think the worst it did was punching me in the chest. xD

Yeah, sometimes no news are the nicer alternative, mh? Luckily, the bad stuff only tends to stand out more than the good.
I've just spend a few hours in the emergency room, needed it for the insurance anyway. I'm okay, it's just bruises indeed, but I feel better for knowing. :D

I'll try and really want to, I miss LJ and you guys!
