I got an offer!

I'm very surprised. The realtor that I went with this round said that he could sell it in 30 days. I totally didn't believe him but decided that he was the most energetic person and the one hugriest for the commision. Sure enough... he's got a written offer to buy my place. It's less then what I want/need to sell it as... but if I can convince

Out $18,000 cash? Or $8,000? God, I've never in my life SEEN so much money. Never had anywhere close to that.

But hey, congrats on getting the offer (even if it does sound kind of like a bum deal)!

Yeah... I know... means I get to walk to the bank and very nicely ask for money.

Yeah... it kind of is a bum deal... although that's really the cash that I used to pay for a down payment on the current house... so I'm not really loosing the money, just shifting the debt around... it's all stupid monopoly money...

I hope you can get them to come up a little more. Good luck. At least once it is done, you will sleep a lot better even if you do have a small loan to pay off.
