Well, a fourth of the people were pulled here without knowing what was happening and therefore would not have any items that one couldn't get on their own.

Then again, do you have anything the computer couldn't provide?

Well it sure made it easier to help myself to their abandoned belongings, gotta admit.

I don't know. The way you say 'trade' makes me a bit leery. It sounds like it might be easier to steal what I can requisition.

Aw, come on now I'm not that dishonest, amigo. Trades a trade, fair and square. As for the stealing, hell, how do you think I got all this stuff in the first place?

Then turnabout's fair play and all that. Besides, I wouldn't be the only stealing. You'd be the thief, and I'd merely be 'recovering lost items'.
