She looked at her UN contact. It wasn’t Damian this time, instead it was the man she only knew as Seredeth.
“Are you sure you want to do this Reiko?”
“Who else can neutralize it? Let’s face it, it’s a two man job getting in there and you need my help with the virus.” She sighed a little. “I’ll be able to do it, but this is the last UN job I do.”
The blonde nodded. “Heard you were with a new outfit.”
“You also know about the reason why.” She looked out over the gardens. They had decided to meet in the Scottish embassy, the diplomats were hosting a gala, perfect cover for a covert meeting, and she had to admit the secret ops agent she was being teamed with did dress up better than any of Damian’s crew. Looking up at the moon over New York she noted the full moon. It was low in the sky, a hunting moon…
“You okay with this? You seem distracted.”
“Just feel bad that I’m going in without telling the others what’s going on. They deserve to know.”
“After tonight it won’t matter, it won’t be a threat.”
“True, meet me out front in half an hour. I can’t do the mission in this damn dress.”
Serredeth chuckled at that. “And here I was starting to like the dress.” She glared at him and he held up his hands. “Okay half hour.”
